SBU Enactus places in top 12 at nationals
Southwest Baptist University Enactus finished in the top 12 in the Enactus U.S. National Exposition held May 20-22 at the Kansas City Convention Center.

Brownen, Immel receive Life Beautiful Awards at SBU commencement
Southwest Baptist University confers 631 degrees in Dr. Taylor's final ceremonies as SBU president Southwest Baptist University conferred 220 undergraduate and 280 graduate degrees during two ceremonies Saturday, May 19, on the Bolivar campus. Another 131 degrees were conferred Thursday, May 17, in Springfield, to graduates of the Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences of SBU.

Busy Spring for SBU's Dutile Honors Program
The spring of 2018 has been, and will be, a busy time for the director and students in Southwest Baptist University's Gordon and Judy Dutile Honors Program.

Twelve students in Southwest Baptist University's Gordon & Judy Dutile Honors Program presented their Senior Honors Capstone Experience projects during an open house May 8.

SBU to hold commencement ceremonies May 17 and 19
Nearly 640 students will graduate from Southwest Baptist University during three commencement ceremonies -- one held Thursday, May 17, in Springfield and two held Saturday, May 19, in Bolivar.
SBU students recognized at Honors Chapel
Southwest Baptist University students were recognized for their contributions to their academic departments and colleges at Honors Chapel on May 2 in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
SBU inducts 30 into Alpha Chi Honor Society
Thirty Southwest Baptist University students were inducted into the Missouri Gamma Chapter of Alpha Chi Honor Society in April. Alpha Chi is a national college honor society that admits students from all academic disciplines. Membership is limited to the top 10 percent of an institution's juniors and seniors who have at least a 3.8 grade point average and a record that reflects academic integrity and honesty.
