SBU Homecoming Schedule - "CPat" Taylor among inductees into the SBU Athletics Hall of Fame
Bolivar, MO. - Southwest Baptist University's annual Homecoming event will be Friday, October 2nd through Saturday, October 3rd, with the theme "HIS GLORY, OUR JOY!"

Announcing the SBU Homecoming Court Candidates for 2026
The 2026 Homecoming Court Candidates will be voted on during Spirit Chapel on Wednesday, September 30th. The candidates will ride in the Homecoming parade on Saturday, October 3rd; following the parade, all are welcome to join students and alumni at the Homecoming football game against Lincoln University at Plaster Stadium at 1:00 PM. Cheer on the SBU Bearcats and watch the coronation of this year's Homecoming King and Queen during half time!

50 High School Students Enroll in SBU Academy for Fall
50 high-achieving high school students from 10 area public school district, 4 Christian schools, and several home schools have enrolled in SBU Academy for Fall 2026. Students who participate in SBU Academy have the opportunity to take dual enrollment classes in person with university faculty.

Enrollment Gains Drive SBU Past 3,000 Students
Southwest Baptist University will enjoy its largest total enrollment in nearly a decade this fall. Thanks to gains on almost every campus, SBU will welcome more than 3,000 total students across its five campuses for the Fall 2026 semester.
