50 High School Students Enroll in SBU Academy for Fall
50 high-achieving high school students from 10 area public school district, 4 Christian schools, and several home schools have enrolled in SBU Academy for Fall 2026. Students who participate in SBU Academy have the opportunity to take dual enrollment classes in person with university faculty.

Enrollment Gains Drive SBU Past 3,000 Students
Southwest Baptist University will enjoy its largest total enrollment in nearly a decade this fall. Thanks to gains on almost every campus, SBU will welcome more than 3,000 total students across its five campuses for the Fall 2026 semester.

New Partnership with Bolivar High School allows BHS students to earn Cybersecurity Dual Credit
Southwest Baptist University is excited to announce a new partnership with Bolivar High School that will allow their students to earn dual credit for cybersecurity courses. Students in this groundbreaking program will be able to take entry level cybersecurity courses through SBU and gain hands on experience that will prepare them for IT positions directly after their high school graduation.
