SBU Community Concert Series opens second season on Oct. 17
The SBU Department of Music announces the second season of the SBU Community Concert Series and the William and Kathy Brown Guest Artist Series, both of which bring national and international guest performers to the SBU and Bolivar communities, for the 2019-2020 season.
Barnett-Padgett Literary Artist Series to host Pelaez Baumgaertner in reading Sept. 12
The Barnett-Padgett Literary Artist Series of Southwest Baptist University will be presenting award-winning poet Dr. Jill Pelaez Baumgaertner in a reading of her works at 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.
Southwest Baptist University welcomes students, employees and the community to Fall semester Chapel services, which take place weekly at 10 a.m. on campus in Pike Auditorium beginning Wednesday, Aug. 19 through Wednesday, Dec. 9. The focus for the Fall semester is "KNOWING: What we believe and why it matters."
