SBU PBL claims 10 top-10 awards at nationals
Southwest Baptist University's Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization had 10 students compete at the PBL National Leadership Conference on June 24-27 in San Antonio, with seven claiming 10 top-10 finishes.
SBU adds biochemistry and forensic chemistry degrees
Southwest Baptist University will offer two new chemistry majors starting with the Fall 2019 semester. Bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and forensic chemistry provide more options for students.

OTC and SBU sign agreement for transfer opportunities
Ozarks Technical Community College and Southwest Baptist University signed an articulation agreement to allow students to seamlessly transfer from OTC into SBU's bachelor degree programs. The agreement was signed at the OTC Springfield Campus, today, Thursday, June 6.

SBU Enactus competes at National Exposition
Southwest Baptist University Enactus recently competed in the Enactus U.S. National Exposition, finishing in the top 32 at the Kansas City Convention Center.
SBU partners with Culver-Stockton, Truman STate for master in athletic training degree
Future Southwest Baptist University sports medicine graduates will have the opportunity to pursue a master of athletic training degree, thanks to recent partnerships developed with both Culver-Stockton College in Canton, and Truman State University in Kirksville.

Nine students in Southwest Baptist University's Gordon & Judy Dutile Honors Program presented their Senior Honors Capstone Experience projects during an open house May 9.

SBU CIS seniors present projects for 2018-2019
Southwest Baptist University's Department of Computer and Information Sciences recently had 23 seniors - the largest class in the department's history - work on and present six projects sponsored by several leading companies and organizations, including the U.S. Federal Reserve banking system.
