SBU hosts dedication ceremony for Randolph Chapel, amphitheater, garden

Southwest Baptist University hosted a dedication ceremony for the renovated Lloyd & Frances Randolph Meditation Chapel and Clement Amphitheatre & Prayer Garden on Thursday, May 9 on the Bolivar campus.

SBU Honors students lead sessions at conference

Seven Southwest Baptist University students in the Gordon and Judy Dutile Honors Program recently presented at Ozarks Technical Community College's eighth annual Honors Research Conference at OTC in Springfield.

SBU to hold commencement ceremonies May 16 and 18

Nearly 615 students will graduate from Southwest Baptist University during three commencement ceremonies -- one on Thursday, May 16, and two on Saturday, May 18, in Bolivar.

SBU's Wood has book published

Southwest Baptist University's Dr. Bethany Wood, assistant professor of theatre, recently had her book - "Women Adapting: Bringing Three Serials of the Roaring Twenties to Stage and Screen (Studies in Theatre History and Culture)" - published by University of Iowa Press.

SBU to hold dedication ceremony for Randolph Chapel renovation

Southwest Baptist University will host a dedication for the renovated Lloyd & Frances Randolph Meditation Chapel and Clement Amphitheatre & Prayer Garden from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9 on the Bolivar campus, with the dedication ceremony at 5:30 p.m.

SBU Department of Education hosts inaugural Literature Bowl

Southwest Baptist University's Department of Education recently hosted its first SBU Literature Bowl for fourth- through sixth-grade readers in the Goodson Student Union and Gott Education Building on the Bolivar campus.
