Southwest Baptist University alumni and friends will celebrate Homecoming on Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1 on the Bolivar campus.
Southwest Baptist University has selected the "little sisters" - and, new this year, "little brothers" - for Homecoming 2016. Each child will escort a king and queen or prince and princess candidate during the Homecoming parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1. The "little sisters" and "little brothers" are grandchildren or children of SBU employees.

Southwest Baptist University students have nominated five seniors as candidates for Homecoming Queen - and, new this year, five candidates for Homecoming King. These candidates have been selected by their peers and the winning King and Queen will be announced at the homecoming football game at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.
Southwest Baptist University will begin offering master's level courses in Educational Administration on Oct. 18 on the university's Springfield campus at 1265 E. Lark St.
Southwest Baptist University will host an Art Faculty Show from Sept. 19 through Oct. 7 at the Driskill Art Gallery on the Bolivar campus.
U.S. District Judge M. Douglas Harpool will speak at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, in the Joe Roberts Room of the McClelland Dining facility at Southwest Baptist University.

The Barnett-Padgett Literary Artist Series of Southwest Baptist University will be presenting poet Jennifer Maier in a reading of her works at 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.
The week of Sept. 5-11 is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Week and Southwest Baptist University welcomes Jana Letterman as she shares her story during Chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Pike Auditorium.
