Flint receives SBU Library award

BOLIVAR, Mo. — Southwest Baptist University student Leo Flint, of Bolivar, was honored by the SBU University Libraries as the Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for November 2016.

University Libraries’ faculty and staff established the monthly award to recognize outstanding employment characteristics – dependability, quality of work, motivation, attitude and cooperation – demonstrated by the student assistants employed at the library.

Flint, a biology major, received an award letter from Dr. Edward W. Walton, dean of University Libraries, a certificate of recognition and a gift. Flint is a student assistant in the media department and is one of the 30 part-time student assistants working at the library as a part of SBU’s work-study program.
