SBU still accepting float, band registrations

Southwest Baptist University will host the annual Homecoming parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 23. Local businesses and organizations are invited to have a float in the parade.

SBU's DPT, BSW programs partner to enhance students' learning, expand community services

Southwest Baptist University's Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) programs are partnering to enhance the learning of social work students on the Bolivar campus, as well as expanding services for area residents.

Delmont's work used as resource in nursing publication

Southwest Baptist University's Nancy Delmont, MSN, RN, had her Quick Medication Guide published as an educational resource in "How to Teach Students to Think Like a Nurse," a collaborative publication by Keith Rischer, RN, MA, CEN, CCRN and Patricia Pence, EdD, MSN, RN.

SBU to dedicate renovated Taylor Center on Sept. 7

Southwest Baptist University will dedicate the Robert W. Plaster College of Business and Computer Science and re-dedicate the Gene Taylor National Free Enterprise Center at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 7, outside the Taylor Center on the Bolivar campus.

SBU celebrates new school year at formal convocation

Two faculty members and a staff member were honored at Southwest Baptist University's annual convocation Wednesday, Aug. 23. Convocation marks the formal beginning of the academic year and is a time when campus gathers to focus on SBU's mission and traditions.

New faculty join SBU for 2017-2018 academic year

Southwest Baptist University is pleased to announce 11 new faculty members for the 2017-2018 academic year. SBU's faculty is integral in the University's mission to be a Christ-centered, caring academic community preparing students to be servant leaders in a global society.

SBU music welcomes guest artist from China

The Southwest Baptist University Department of Music will host guest artist Yuan Yuan Jiang at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 29, in the Meyer Recital Hall of the Casebolt Music Building on the Bolivar campus.
