SBU to hold five commencement ceremonies Nov. 20
Southwest Baptist University will be holding five commencement ceremonies on Friday, Nov. 20 - alternating between the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness Center and Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
SBU announces Homecoming King and Queen candidates for 2020
Southwest Baptist University students have nominated five seniors as candidates for Homecoming King and five candidates for Homecoming Queen. These candidates have been selected by their peers, and the winning King and Queen will be announced during Homecoming Chapel on Friday, Oct. 2.

SBU presents Wehmeyer in faculty recital on euphonium tonight
The Southwest Baptist University Division of Arts and Humanities presents Dr. Terri Wehmeyer on euphonium in a faculty recital tonight at 7:30 in the Jane A. Meyer Recital Hall. Room 104 will be available for overflow with livestreaming, as social distancing will be practiced in both locations, and face masks required.

SBU plans virtual events for Homecoming 2020
Southwest Baptist University is holding virtual Homecoming events Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3, including a Shoebox Parade in which everyone can participate, a 5K, Day of Prayer and class reunions.
Caddy, Gray named CGC Nations Award recipients
Southwest Baptist University's Center for Global Connections honored an SBU employee and an SBU alumnus with its annual Nations Award during the Global Connections Week Chapel service on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
SBU Theatre announces 2020-2021 season
The Southwest Baptist University Theatre announces its 2020-2021 season with an exciting and diverse combination of shows on the theme of Perseverance on the Bolivar campus for a variety of audiences.

SBU extends test-optional application to Spring, Fall 2021 semesters
Southwest Baptist University is extending its test-optional application for undergraduate admission for all campuses -- Bolivar, Mountain View, Salem and Springfield -- to the Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 semesters.
