SBU Theatre to present "The Exception and The Rule" on Feb. 25-27

Southwest Baptist University Theatre will present Bretolt Brecht's "The Exception and the Rule'' at 7 p.m., Feb. 25-27, in the Davis-Newport Theatre on the Bolivar campus.

SBU to host guest artist, faculty chamber recital on Feb. 11

The Southwest Baptist University Division of Arts & Humanities will present a guest artist and faculty chamber recital at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

New faculty join SBU for Spring 2021 semester

Southwest Baptist University is pleased to announce two new faculty members for the Spring 2021 semester. SBU's faculty is integral in the University's mission to be a Christ-centered, caring academic community preparing students to be servant leaders in a global society.

SBU-Mountain View hosting open house for students on Jan.13

The Southwest Baptist University-Mountain View campus will be hosting an Open House from 1-6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 13 in the Myrtle Glass Building on the Mountain View campus.

SBU honors Bolton, McCarley with Life Beautiful Awards; celebrates employees for years of service

David Bolton, chief technology officer of Information and Technology Services, and Dr. Renay McCarley, division head of Associate Level Nursing and Health Sciences, received the Staff and Faculty Life Beautiful Awards on Friday, Dec. 11 at Southwest Baptist University.

Speaking Bearcats capture another victory

The Southwest Baptist University Speaking Bearcats continued their winning ways on Nov. 13-14 at the Virtual Simpson Storm Tournament, hosted by Simpson College located in Indianola, Iowa.

SBU confers degrees upon 166 graduates in November ceremonies

Southwest Baptist University graduated 166 students during commencement ceremonies on Friday, Nov. 20 in both the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center and Pike Auditorium in Mabee Chapel on the Bolivar campus.

SBU's CGC commissions teams during Nov. 18 Chapel service

Southwest Baptist University's Center for Global Connections formally commissioned eight mission teams, as well as two Intercultural Studies majors, during Chapel service on Wednesday, Nov. 18, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
