SBU mission teams commissioned at Dec. 1 Chapel service
Southwest Baptist University's Center for Global Connections formally commissioned 11 mission teams during Chapel service on Wednesday, Dec. 1, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

SBU honors Woods, DuVall with Life Beautiful Awards; celebrates employees for service
Carol Woods, administrative assistant in the Clark University Success Center, and Dr. Bill DuVall, assistant professor of psychology, received the Staff and Faculty Life Beautiful Awards during the annual employee Christmas banquet Nov. 30 at Southwest Baptist University.

SBU's Chamber Singers to present online-only concert Dec. 2
The Chamber Singers of Southwest Baptist University will present an online-only concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 2.

Festival of Christmas is Dec. 5 at SBU
The 41st annual Festival of Christmas, sponsored by Southwest Baptist University and Community Outreach Ministries, will be presented at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, in Mabee Chapel on SBU's Bolivar campus. Community members also will be able to meet SBU President Dr. Rick Melson from 5 to 6 p.m. in the lobby of Mabee Chapel.
"The Awakening" revival refreshes and equips
"The Awakening," a three-day student-led revival on Southwest Baptist University's Bolivar campus on Nov. 5-7, revealed a desire to grow in the Lord and to repent by providing the campus and surrounding community with a weekend of encouragement and equipping through learning, connecting and worship.
SBU's Wind Symphony, University Band to perform Nov. 18
The Southwest Baptist University Division of Arts and Humanities presents the Wind Symphony and University Band in concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 18 in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

SBU Jazz Ensemble to present fall concert Nov. 16
The Southwest Baptist University Jazz Ensemble will present its fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
SBU coding team wins O'Reilly Coding Challenge
The Southwest Baptist University Computing Bearcats' "BrokenBot" coding team recently defeated Drury University in the annual O'Reilly Coding Challenge.
