SBU Jazz Ensemble to present spring concert April 19
The Southwest Baptist University Jazz Ensemble will present its spring concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

SBU students receive academic honors at "A Premiere of Excellence"
Southwest Baptist University students graduating in May were recognized for their contributions to their academic areas and divisions during "A Premiere of Excellence" ceremony Thursday evening, April 7.

SBU student earns top scientific presentation award
Twelve Southwest Baptist University biology students recently presented research at the Sigma Zeta National Convention, with Sarah Schwemmer bringing home the Top Scientific Presentation Award for 2022 - the second-straight year an SBU student has been awarded the top prize.

Southwest Baptist University's Division of Arts and Humanities will present "The SBU Sound Crowd" in a one-night performance at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 12 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

SBU to host guest artist and faculty chamber recital April 10
The Southwest Baptist University Division of Arts & Humanities will host a guest artist and faculty chamber recital featuring Dr. David Hays on violin and Dr. Robert Carney on piano at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 10 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

SBU's Paxton earns highest honor in Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament
Southwest Baptist University senior Jessica Paxton received the All-American Award at the 2022 Pi Kappa Delta National Comprehensive Tournament March 7-13 in Orlando.

Kimbrough writes book about what the church was designed to be
The desire to know and share about what the church is supposed to be was the inspiration for Southwest Baptist University's Dr. Matt Kimbrough's book: "Reclaiming the Church Family: A Solution to the Corporate-Church Crisis."
