SBU honors the Bryants with Life Beautiful Awards

Robbie Bryant, MEP maintenance supervisor, and his wife, Dr. Julie Bryant, associate professor of education, received the Staff and Faculty Life Beautiful Awards during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 6 at Southwest Baptist University.

SBU honors employees for years of service

Southwest Baptist University honored employees with employment anniversary milestones, beginning with five years, during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 6. The employees recognized have given a total of 470 years of service to SBU.

SBU senior art majors to host exhibit

Southwest Baptist University senior art majors will be presenting their senior show exhibit titled "And I Thought" from Dec. 11-17 at Bolivar's Pop Up Shop (formerly the Tea Garden), 113 S. Main Ave., Bolivar.

SBU music faculty to perform 'All Brahms' recital

Members of the Southwest Baptist University music department faculty will present an "All Brahms" recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in Casebolt Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

36th annual Festival of Christmas to be held Sunday

The 36th annual Festival of Christmas, sponsored by Southwest Baptist University and Community Outreach Ministries, will be presented at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 4, in Mabee Chapel on SBU's Bolivar campus.

SBU student presents research at MAKO conference

Southwest Baptist University student Julie Anne Bowman, a mathematics major from Franklin, N.C., presented a talk at the 12th MAKO Undergraduate Math Research Conference held Saturday, Nov. 12, at Missouri State University.

SBU Chamber Singers present "Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners"

The Chamber Singers of Southwest Baptist University will present the traditional "Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners" at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 2, in the McClelland Dining Facility on the Bolivar campus.
