SBU set to host in-person Homecoming activities Oct. 1-2
Southwest Baptist University alumni and friends will celebrate Homecoming on Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2 on the Bolivar campus.

Shell joins her twin brother in SBU Athletics Hall of Fame
When talking about Southwest Baptist University track and field, if the last name Shell sounds familiar - it should. Emma Shell, one of three SBU Athletics Hall of Fame inductees for 2021, joins her twin brother, Bill '14, '17 - a 2020 inductee - as a member of this elite group.

SBU adds new Cybersecurity Management degree
Southwest Baptist University kicked off the Fall 2021 semester with a new degree program offering - cybersecurity management - which brings conceptual and administrative coursework in cybersecurity together with the business discipline of management.
SBU accepting float, band registrations for Homecoming parade
Southwest Baptist University will host the annual Homecoming parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2. Local businesses and organizations are invited to have a float or participate in the parade.

SBU's Langford, Weber selected as "Most Influential Women" for 2021
Dr. Allison Langford, vice president for strategic planning and initiatives at Southwest Baptist University, and Rebecca Weber, a 2012 SBU graduate and program director with CASA of Southwest Missouri, have been selected to Springfield Business Journal's class of 2021 "Most Influential Women."
