SBU Speaking Bearcats finish in top 3 at national tournament
Southwest Baptist University's Speaking Bearcats finished in the top 3 at the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament and Convention, brought home a national championship in literary criticism and had two members named All-American at the event held March 22-25, 2017, at Boise State University, in Boise, Idaho.

Southwest Baptist University mathematics professor Dr. Kevin Hopkins is one of the contributors to "Thomas' Calculus, 14th Edition," which was recently published by Pearson.
SBU's Randolph passes CMA exam
Southwest Baptist University senior Matthew Randolph of Lebanon, Mo., recently passed both parts of the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam. CMA certification is a professional credential that can be earned in the advanced management accounting and financial management fields.
