The 2026 Homecoming Court Candidates will be voted on during Spirit Chapel on Wednesday, September 30th. The candidates will ride in the Homecoming parade on Saturday, October 3rd; following the parade, all are welcome to join students and alumni at the Homecoming football game against Lincoln University at Plaster Stadium at 1:00 PM. Cheer on the SBU Bearcats and watch the coronation of this year's Homecoming King and Queen during half time!

Nathan Keck & Kimbrelyn Thrower

Kimbrelyn Thrower is an Exercise Science major from Canton, Missouri. She plans to enroll in SBU's DPT program and become a physical therapist after graduating.
Michael Higgins & Breanna Rogers
Michael Higgins is a Math Education major from Ofallon, Missouri. He plans to get a job teaching and coaching, and be a good husband for his future wife Breanna Rogers.
Breanna Rogers is a Environmental Biology major from Moscow Mills, Missouri. She
plans to get a job in conservation and be a good wife to her future husband, Michael
Higgins. Breanna has aunts and uncles who are alumni.
Kaden Hensley and Molly Scott
Kaden Hensley is a Middle School Math Education and Mathemamtics major from Istanbul, Turkey. He plans to teach math in a local public school while obtaining a master's in counseling, with the goal of eventually moving overseas and continuing to serve the Lord in the schools there.
Molly Scott is a Biblical Studies major, minoring in in Biblical Languages & Marketing from Wellsville, Missouri. Lord willing, she hopes to be a faithful wife and mother. She also plans to serve Christ in her local church as well as vocationally in ministry through para-church organizations.
Joel Gammon and Alli Causey
Joel Gammon is a Organizational and Strategic Communication/Business and Political Science major from Springfield, Missouri. After graduating, he plans to work in real estate and eventually start a family. Both of Joel's parents, Jeff ('94) and Kristen ('96) Gammon, and his grandparents are alumni.
Alli Causey is a History & Political Science major minoring in Communications & Spanish from Rapid City, South Dakota. She plans to follow the Lord's guidance, get a master's in history, and share her passion for history with others. Alli has 4 aunts and uncles who are alumni.

Brody Gentry and Ellie Flora
Brody Gentry is a Biology major specializing in Pre-Health from Warrensburg, Missouri. He plans to attend PA school and be the best husband to Ellie Flora after graduating.
Ellie Flora is a Biology major specializing in Pre-Medicine from Stockton, Missouri. She hopes to attend medical school to become a pediatrician and be a good with to Brody Gentry. Both of her parents attended SBU, her father Jim Flora graduated in 2000 and her mother Sara Flora attended from 1998-2000.

Creed Carlson is a Economics and Finance major from Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating, he hopes to get a job.
