Annual SBU Masterworks Concert to be held May 5

The Department of Music of Southwest Baptist University will present "Frostiana" and "A Song of Moses," at its annual Masterworks Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 5 in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

SBU's Wind Symphony, University Band, Percussion Ensemble in concert April 27

Dye, Skupa featured in SBU senior art exhibit

Southwest Baptist University senior art students will have their work displayed April 24 through May 5 at the Driskill Art Gallery on the Bolivar campus, in one of three senior shows to wrap up the spring semester.

Southwest Baptist University's department of music will present a faculty and guest artist chamber recital at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 23, in the Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

Meadows' work published in E-Source publication

Southwest Baptist University's Dr. Jodi Meadows was recently published in "E-Source for College Transitions," a publication of the University of South Carolina, which is home to the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition.

SBU alumni recognized as Outstanding Beginning Teachers

Southwest Baptist University alumni Kayla Bobeen and Taylor Jaudes were recently recognized as two of Missouri's Outstanding Beginning Teachers at the Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education's spring conference at the Columbia Conference Center.
