Executive search firm CarterBaldwin will assist the Southwest Baptist University Board of Trustees with the search and selection process for the University's 26th President.

After having to cancel mission project trips last spring because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Southwest Baptist University's Center for Global Connections (CGC) commissioned four teams during Global Connections Week to serve over Spring Break 2021.

Southwest Baptist University has announced dates and times for its May 2021 commencement ceremonies to be held in the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness Center on the Bolivar campus. SBU will host five ceremonies - three undergraduate ceremonies on Friday, May 14 and two graduate ceremonies on Saturday, May 15 - in order to comply with health department guidelines for gathering sizes.
Tennessee Ervin, a finance major from Festus, and Ky'Lee Hoyt, an elementary education major from Lebanon, won the titles of Mr. and Miss Southwest at the annual pageant on Friday, March 5, at Southwest Baptist University.
