SBU honors Bolton, McCarley with Life Beautiful Awards; celebrates employees for years of service

David Bolton, chief technology officer of Information and Technology Services, and Dr. Renay McCarley, division head of Associate Level Nursing and Health Sciences, received the Staff and Faculty Life Beautiful Awards on Friday, Dec. 11 at Southwest Baptist University.

Speaking Bearcats capture another victory

The Southwest Baptist University Speaking Bearcats continued their winning ways on Nov. 13-14 at the Virtual Simpson Storm Tournament, hosted by Simpson College located in Indianola, Iowa.

SBU confers degrees upon 166 graduates in November ceremonies

Southwest Baptist University graduated 166 students during commencement ceremonies on Friday, Nov. 20 in both the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center and Pike Auditorium in Mabee Chapel on the Bolivar campus.

SBU's CGC commissions teams during Nov. 18 Chapel service

Southwest Baptist University's Center for Global Connections formally commissioned eight mission teams, as well as two Intercultural Studies majors, during Chapel service on Wednesday, Nov. 18, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Southwest Baptist University is set to confer degrees upon 166 Fall 2020 graduates during commencement ceremonies on Friday, Nov. 20 in two locations - the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center and Pike Auditorium in Mabee Chapel on the Bolivar campus.

Johnson receives SBU Library Award

Southwest Baptist University student Keiton Johnson of Bates City was honored by the SBU University Libraries as Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for September 2020.

Bryant earns international educational facilities credential

Robbie Bryant, director of facilities at Southwest Baptist University, has earned the prestigious Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) credential by the APPA, the association dedicated to leadership in educational facilities.
