SBU Bookstore to host signing for Malone's new book on Dec. 3

A book signing for Dr. Kelly Malone's new book will be held from 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the Southwest Baptist University Bookstore on the Bolivar campus.

Southwest Baptist University student Austin Pfrimmer of Chariton, Iowa, was honored by the SBU University Libraries as Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for October 2019.

40th Annual Festival of Christmas to be held Dec. 8

The 40th annual Festival of Christmas, sponsored by Southwest Baptist University and Community Outreach Ministries, will be presented at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, in Mabee Chapel on SBU's Bolivar campus.

Chamber Singers present "Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners"

The Chamber Singers of Southwest Baptist University will present the traditional "Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners" at 6:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Dec. 5-6, in the McClelland Dining Facility on the Bolivar campus.

SBU's Wind Symphony, University Band in concert Nov. 21

The Southwest Baptist University Department of Music will present the Wind Symphony and University Band in concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Speaking Bearcats victorious in October tournaments

The Southwest Baptist University Speaking Bearcats opened their 2019-2020 traveling season with a pair of overall sweepstakes victories in the Missouri Mule/Dale Carnegie swing tournament on Oct. 18 and 20, and the Cowtown Classic on Oct. 25-26.
