SBU High School Invitational Concert Band Director Nomination Form

We are excited to offer students an outstanding educational opportunity in the form of an Honor Band consisting of the best High School students in the region on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Stephen Mathews, Director of Instrumental Studies at Southwest Baptist University will conduct the group. The event is free for students and includes lunch and a t-shirt. 

Students or directors may nominate students for the ensemble.

This is a three-step online process:
1) Nominate students by January 12, 2025, and communicate with those students
2) Wait for selection and notification from all the nominations submitted (January 17, 2025)
3) Notify those students invited and assure their online response [yes or no].
