BOLIVAR, Mo. — Southwest Baptist University senior art majors will be presenting their senior show exhibit titled “And I Thought” from Dec. 11-17 at Bolivar’s Pop Up Shop (formerly the Tea Garden), 113 S. Main Ave., Bolivar.
Valerie Harvengt (art education major), Josh Mayfield (double-major in commercial art, with a concentration in graphic design/general art, with a concentration in 2-D), Jordan Harris (commercial art major, with a concentration in graphic design) and Brooklyn Siegismund (commercial art, with a double-concentration in digital imaging and graphic design) will be available to discuss a culmination of pieces that they have created during their time at SBU.
There also will be several pieces for sale.
“All artwork can be explained by starting with one simple phrase: ‘And I thought...,’ ” Harvengt said about how the group came up with the name of the exhibit.
A reception for the seniors will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15, at Bolivar’s Pop Up Shop.
