SBU students inducted into Psi Chi

BOLIVAR, Mo. — Three Southwest Baptist University students were inducted into Psi Chi during the October meeting of the Behavioral Sciences Club.

Inductees are:

Jacey Collins, a psychology major from Springfield;

sbu.psi.chiKimber Stout, a psychology major with a minor in counseling from Mansfield; and

Gabrielle Stovall, a psychology and art double major from Omaha, Ark.

Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, was founded in 1929 with a mission to encourage excellence in scholarship and advance the science of psychology.

Also during the Behavioral Sciences Club meeting, Dr. Jennifer Maloney, assistant professor of psychology on SBU’s Springfield campus, demonstrated some play therapy techniques.
