SBU offering grad ed classes on Springfield campus

Southwest Baptist University will begin offering master’s level courses in Educational Administration on Oct. 18 on the university’s Springfield campus at 1265 E. Lark St.

SBU’s Master of Science in Educational Administration is a 38-hour degree program leading to initial K-12 principal certification.

The course rotation will allow a student to complete the degree in two years by taking courses during two eight-week semesters during the fall and spring, as well as accelerated summer courses.

“Offering these courses on our Springfield campus will be more convenient for educators who live in Springfield and areas south of Springfield,” said Dr. Jim Truelove, chair of the Department of Graduate Studies in Education at SBU. “We are excited to welcome new students to our educational administration program.”
