BOLIVAR, Mo. — Southwest Baptist University art students will be presenting a scholarship show from Monday, Jan. 30 through Saturday, Feb. 18 in the Driskill Art Gallery on the Bolivar campus.
The students will choose pieces to submit for viewing, and will be considered for scholarships based on their skills as an artist, presentation of work and work ethic. SBU art department instructors will view and evaluate all submitted pieces, then determine the amount of scholarship each student will be awarded. The students are also responsible for hanging the show, as well preparing their work for the show.
A reception will be held for the artists from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 2, outside the gallery.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
