BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Southwest Baptist University Springfield Campus will host a dedication on Thursday, Aug. 30 for the naming of the Nurse Training Center at 1265 E. Lark St.
The Nurse Training Center, which was renovated into a state-of-the-art facility and dedicated in September 2016, will be named the Wayne & Diana Hutchins Center for Nursing Education.
“Wayne and Diana have been great supporters of SBU for many years,” said Dr. C. Pat Taylor, president of SBU. “Wayne has served on SBU’s Board of Trustees since 2001 and also serves on our Investment Committee. Wayne and Diana have been great financial supporters of SBU, and it is a great honor to name this building after them.”
The come-and-go event will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m., with the dedication program at 5:30 p.m.
