The SBU Forensics Team competed at the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament in West Chester, PA. I thought it might be a great story to report for SBU. The team returned with several National Awards.
SBU's Theatre Students Honored at Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival
Southwest Baptist University theatre students were honored at the 55th annual Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, which celebrates work by colleges and universities in the eight-state region during 2022, on Jan. 22-27, 2023, in Des Moines, IA.

Southwest Baptist University is proud to announce the launch of its fully accredited online campus, SBU Worldwide, beginning with the Fall 2023 semester. SBU Worldwide will offer 100% online degree and certificate programs to students around the globe.
SBU Welcomes Brandt Merritt as Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing
Southwest Baptist University has named Brandt Merritt as Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing. Merritt will lead the development of SBU's marketing strategy, the promotion of university programs, as well as efforts to recruit and enroll undergraduate and graduate students to the university's five campuses. Merritt will also serve as a member of the Executive Cabinet.
SBU Division of the Arts announces recital with Andrew Baker
The Southwest Baptist University Division of The Arts will host guest artist Andrew Baker, who will present an oboe recital at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 23, in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.
