The Southwest Baptist University Division of The Arts the University Band and Wind Symphony Concert on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 7:30 pm in Pike Auditorium.
The concert will feature selections from “Les Misérables,” a “Dixieland piece, “Just a Closer Walk with Thee,” “A Prayer for Ukraine,” Inspirational hymn settings of “God of Our Fathers,” and “No Shadow of Turing” based on “Great is Thy Faithfulness.”
They feature soloists Josh Robertson, Mya Bartels, Emery Smashey, and Meagan Moore. Notable student guest conductors Madison Gandy, Josh Robertson, and Meagan Moore will help lead the concert direction with an exceptional performance of Punch for Brass Ensemble by Katy Abbott.
