“Christian higher education is facing strong headwinds,” said Moats. “In this time of change and turbulence, we have opportunities to make unprecedented changes. I am looking forward to joining the SBU team for this time in its history. We stand on the shoulders of those who come before us. Our task is to take what they have left us and contextualize it for today. I look forward to journeying together in the days ahead.”
