Associate's Degree in Teaching

Earn an associate's degree in teaching at SBU-Salem or SBU-Mountain View

With an associate's degree in teaching from Southwest Baptist University, you will be well-prepared to fill educational support roles, such as teacher’s aide, paraprofessional or substitute teacher.

All courses for this degree are offered through convenient afternoon or evening classes at the SBU campuses in Salem or Mountain View, MO. The degree may be finished in two years. You will graduate with enough hours to earn your substitute teaching certificate, and will be well-equipped to continue on to a bachelor's degree, if you desire.

You may choose to earn an Associate of Arts in Teaching (includes foreign language course requirement) or an Associate of Science in Teaching degree.
