SBU to host faculty and guest artist chamber recital

The Southwest Baptist University Department of Music will host an evening of chamber music at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6, in Meyer Recital Hall.

SBU assistant professor of music Dr. Robert Carney (piano) will perform, along with guest artists Aleksis Zarins (violin), Kirsten Weingartner Weiss (violin), Ned Horner (viola), Matthew Pierce (cello) and Riley Robison (bass). The program will feature the “Trout” piano quintet by Franz Schubert and the “Bass” string quintet by Antonin Dvorak.
