In honor of Judy Taylor and her significant influence to the Southwest Baptist University
community, the university is closing at noon Wednesday, March 30, so that employees
and students can attend Mrs. Taylor’s celebration of life service. She is the wife
of SBU’s President, Dr. C. Pat Taylor.
All classes are cancelled beginning at noon. All SBU campuses (Bolivar, Mountain
View, Salem and Springfield) will be closed beginning at noon, but the closure of
the Springfield campus applies only to those employed by SBU.
Celebration of life service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, in Mabee Chapel on
the SBU Bolivar campus with burial in Bolivar’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is
from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in the lobby of the Sells Administrative Center
at SBU.
