Dr. Allison Langford, associate provost for teaching and learning at Southwest Baptist University, recently was honored with a brunch recognizing her immeasurable contribution to the Gordon and Judy Dutile Honors Program at SBU.
The Barnett-Padgett Literary Artist Series of Southwest Baptist University will be presenting author Suzanne Woods Fisher in a reading and discussion of her works from 6-7 p.m., Monday, March 5, in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

Southwest Baptist University's 2018 Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) Department Advisory Board met on Feb. 16 in the newly renovated Taylor Free Enterprise Center on the Bolivar campus, in conjunction with the Robert W. Plaster College of Business and Computer Science Spring Career Fair.

As the search for Southwest Baptist University's 25th president moves forward, the C. Pat Taylor Annual Scholarship Fund has been established for individuals wanting to make a gift in honor of Dr. Taylor, who will retire as president of SBU on Aug. 31.

Bethany Vermillion selected to participate in national festival Southwest Baptist University theatre students recently were honored at the 50th annual Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, which celebrates work by colleges and universities in the eight-state region during 2017, on Jan. 21-27 in Des Moines, Iowa.
