SBU-Mountain View hosting Open House for students on Jan. 15
The Southwest Baptist University-Mountain View campus will be hosting an Open House on Wednesday, Jan. 15 in the Myrtle Glass Building on the Mountain View campus.

SBU recognizes alumni with Life Service Awards during Honors Chapel
Five Southwest Baptist University alumni were honored with special awards in recognition of living lives of service at Honors Chapel on Friday, Oct. 18. The event marks the beginning of Homecoming festivities and also featured the presentation of the 2019 Homecoming court.

SBU selects Kimbrough as theology professor
Matt Kimbrough, Ph.D., will join the faculty at Southwest Baptist University in January 2020. He will be an Assistant Professor of Theology in The Courts Redford College of Theology and Ministry.
Sunderland Foundation presents gift to SBU
The Sunderland Foundation presented a gift to Southwest Baptist University in late June as part of the expansion of parking lots and repair of concrete across the Bolivar campus.
SBU receives findings from the Peer Assessment Committee
The Peer Assessment Committee, led by Dr. David Dockery, chancellor of Trinity International University, has completed its review of Southwest Baptist University's integration of faith, learning and doctrine.

SBU Enactus competes at National Exposition
Southwest Baptist University Enactus recently competed in the Enactus U.S. National Exposition, finishing in the top 32 at the Kansas City Convention Center.
Hogan receives SBU Library award
Southwest Baptist University student Kensi Hogan of Nevada, Mo., was honored by the SBU University Libraries as the Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for March 2019.
SBU celebrates inauguration of 25th President - Dr. Eric A. Turner
Southwest Baptist University celebrated the inauguration of Eric A. Turner, Ed.D., as its 25th president in a ceremony Friday, April 26, in Mabee Chapel on the Bolivar campus.
