SBU Chamber Orchestra to present free concert March 25
The Southwest Baptist University Chamber Orchestra will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 25, in the Meyer Recital Hall of Casebolt Music Center on the Bolivar campus.

SBU Choral ensembles to present outdoor concert on March 23
The Southwest Baptist University Division of Arts and Humanities will present an outdoor evening of choral music at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 23 on the Burnidge Memorial Forum on the Bolivar campus.

SBU announces Spring 2021 commencement dates, times
Southwest Baptist University has announced dates and times for its May 2021 commencement ceremonies to be held in the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness Center on the Bolivar campus. SBU will host five ceremonies - three undergraduate ceremonies on Friday, May 14 and two graduate ceremonies on Saturday, May 15 - in order to comply with health department guidelines for gathering sizes.
Ervin, Hoyt crowned Mr. and Miss Southwest
Tennessee Ervin, a finance major from Festus, and Ky'Lee Hoyt, an elementary education major from Lebanon, won the titles of Mr. and Miss Southwest at the annual pageant on Friday, March 5, at Southwest Baptist University.
SBU chapter of Delta Mu Delta inducts 18 students
Southwest Baptist University's Zeta Kappa chapter of the Delta Mu Delta international honor society in business inducted 18 new members on Monday, Feb. 22, during a banquet ceremony at McClelland Dining Hall on the Bolivar campus.
SBU awards honorary doctorates to Clark, Mathes
Wayne Clark of Bolivar and Mark Mathes of Springfield were awarded honorary doctorates from Southwest Baptist University during the annual Founders' Day chapel service on Monday, March 1, in Pike Auditorium.
Overly receives Baptist Children's Home scholarship at SBU
Southwest Baptist University senior Briana Overly is the first recipient of a $5,000 scholarship representing a partnership among three Missouri Baptist entities.
