SBU CIS seniors present projects for 2020-21
Southwest Baptist University's Division of Computing and Mathematics recently had 31 computing seniors work on and present nine projects sponsored by several leading companies and organizations, including the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank.
Winners announced for SBU's 2021 writing contest
Southwest Baptist University's Bob R. Derryberry Division of Language and Communication recently announced the winners of the 2021 Writing Contest. The winning entries receive awards and small cash prizes, with the top entries appearing in "Scop," the online literary journal of the Department of Language and Literature.
Diepenbrock, Bedell receive Life Beautiful Awards at SBU commencement
Southwest Baptist University conferred 352 undergraduate degrees during three ceremonies Friday, May 14, and 240 graduate degrees during two ceremonies Saturday, May 15 in the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center on the Bolivar campus.

SBU's Bolivar campus set to graduate first PLBSN cohort on May 14
Two and a half years after classes began for the Pre-Licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PLBSN) program on Southwest Baptist University's Bolivar campus, the first cohort will graduate on Friday, May 14.

Six Southwest Baptist University biology majors presented research at the Sigma Zeta National Convention, with Nicholas Schulte bringing home the Top Scientific Presentation Award for 2021.

Thirteen students in Southwest Baptist University's Gordon & Judy Dutile Honors Program presented their Senior Honors Capstone Experience projects during an open house May 4.
