Howes to be featured in SBU faculty recital May 9

SBU chapter of Delta Mu Delta inducts 11 students

Southwest Baptist University's Zeta Kappa chapter of the Delta Mu Delta international honor society in business inducted 11 new members on April 28, during a banquet ceremony at McClelland Dining Hall on the Bolivar campus.

SBU Division of Education hosts Bearcat Book Battle

Southwest Baptist University's Division of Education hosted its third annual Bearcat Book Battle for fourth- through sixth-grade readers on Saturday, April 23 in the Goodson Student Union and Gott Education Building on the Bolivar campus.

SBU recognizes Dill, Chaney scholarship recipients

Three Southwest Baptist University students recently were named the recipients of two of the University's prestigious awards - the Stanley H. Dill Distinguished Scholar Award and the Chaney Scholar Awards - which are among SBU's largest endowed scholarships.

SBU PBL team qualifies nine for nationals

Southwest Baptist University's Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization had nine students qualify for the PBL National competition after an outstanding finish at the PBL State Leadership Conference on April 9 in Springfield.

SBU Theatre to present "On the Verge" on April 28-30

SBU's Chamber Orchestra to present concert April 26

The Chamber Orchestra of Southwest Baptist University will perform at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 26 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus - its final concert of the 2021-2022 academic year.
