Southwest Baptist University Confers 426 Degrees
Southwest Baptist University conferred 266 undergraduate degrees, and 160 graduate degrees during a three ceremonies Friday, May 3 in the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center on the Bolivar campus.
SBU Launching Eight Online Programs through Worldwide Campus
Southwest Baptist University has announced a significant expansion of degree programs available fully online through the SBU Worldwide Campus. Eight degrees in business, management, education, and nursing will launch over the summer and fall semesters. These will combine with the existing associate's and bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Health Sciences to give SBU Worldwide 17 different programs for students seeking quality, affordable, and flexible faith-based online education.

SBU Honor Roll Spring 2024
SBU announces the students named to the university's honor rolls, a distinction given to those who achieve the institution's highest academic standards.
State Grant Delivers New Simulators to Nursing Program
Thanks to a $142,158 grant through Missouri's Nursing Education Incentive Program, SBU purchased birthing simulators and related tools to enhance instruction in maternal, newborn, and post-partum care. Students will gain hands-on knowledge and experience in the vital discipline of labor and delivery health care.

SBU Competitive Programming team Places First in Programming Contest
S BU's competitive programming team, "SBU Purple," placed first place, in the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges - Central Plains (CCSC-CP) Programming Contest, held on Saturday, April 6, at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA.

SBU awards Life Beautiful Awards to Corey McElhaney and Cindy Todd
Southwest Baptist University proudly announces the 2023 Life Beautiful awardees. The designation "Life Beautiful" is the highest honor a person can receive at Southwest Baptist University. Each year, two graduating seniors, one faculty member, and one staff member are chosen to receive the award.

Southwest Baptist University Mr. and Mrs. Southwest to be held March 15
Southwest Baptist University will honor one male and one female student at the annual Mr. and Miss Southwest pageant, which takes place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
