With your financial assistance, we can take SBU Bearcats Athletics to greater heights. SBU is raising $100,000 to establish the SBU Athletics Endowment and raising $100,000 for new scoreboards for football, baseball, and softball. The collective goal of this campaign is to raise $200,000.
The Gene Taylor National Free Enterprise Center, which houses the Robert W. Plaster College of Business and Computer Science, is being expanded to include an 11,318 square foot addition and a renovation and refurbishment of the existing facility. With the addition, the building will have a total of 37,690 square feet. The combination of this new and renewed existing space will serve the students and faculty within our acclaimed business, accounting and computer science academic programs. The projected cost estimate of the expansion is $2.7 million.
This project will endow a Chair of History named in honor of Senator Roy Blunt, former SBU President and member of the SBU class of 1970. The endowment will benefit the department of history and the SBU professor named to occupy the chair.
This new garden will serve as a tribute to Judy as well as meet a need of SBU Physical Therapy students who will benefit from having a place to practice true-to-life therapy experiences.
