Springfield Campus
The Southwest Baptist University campus in Springfield, Mo., offers nursing and health science programs that result in accredited nursing, radiography and health science associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees. All of our degree programs are designed for students pursuing a healthcare education in a Christ-centered environment.
Additionally, all general education and prerequisite courses are offered on the Springfield campus. The University offers a science incentive program to pre-nursing students. Students who take the prerequisite science coursework through SBU can earn up to $500 per semester of ASN tuition credit, for up to four semesters.
The nursing school at SBU-Springfield provides a robust selection of programs for those seeking an accredited degree in nursing. Whether you already have a bachelor's degree in nursing and are seeking a master's degree or are an LPN looking to become a registered nurse, we have a program for you!
For students seeking a degree in health science, we offer multiple options. SBU-Springfield offers health science degree programs at both the associate's and bachelor's levels.
If you are looking to become skilled in the administration of x-rays, CT scans and MRIs, our radiography associate's degree program is for you. Once you complete this degree program, you will be fully equipped to become a certified Radiologic Technologist.

Financial assistance through scholarships, federal and state grant programs, student loans and other aid programs is available to students of the SBU College of Health Professions. Availability of funding is dependent on your financial need, status and commitment to future employment. To qualify for maximum assistance, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at https://fafsa.ed.gov.
Once you are admitted to SBU, you will receive an SBU email address and access to the MySBU Admitted Student Portal. You need to check your SBU email address often for important information, especially related to the online process for approving and finalizing your financial aid award.
Pre-nursing and radiography students taking required pre-requisite science courses at Southwest Baptist University are eligible to receive the science incentive award.
To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:
Qualifying pre-nursing students will receive $500 per semester for a maximum total of $2,000 per student.

Scholarships are available for students enrolled in pre-nursing, A.S.N. or B.S.N. programs.
