Sarah Vandaveer - Student Director
Sarah VandaVeer is sophomore double major in Marketing and Public Relations from Pacific, MO (a super tiny town out of St. Louis). She enjoys making Spotify playlists, people watching at Bolivar Walmart, spelunking, Colorado, and free-styling rapping. Sarah has been working for Welcome Week since October. Sarah’s plans for after college include traveling, enjoying life, and falling deeper in love with Jesus Christ.
Renee Coleman - Support Staff Chair
Renee Coleman is sophomore from Springfield, Missouri. After being undeclared for three semesters, Renee finally decided to double major in Computer Science and Mathematics with her twin sister. Around campus, Renee is frequently confused for Elizabeth, her identical twin.
Allison Hughes- Business/Social Events Chair
Allison Hughes is a sophomore at Southwest Baptist University majoring in Organizational and Strategic Communications with a minor in Business Administration. Allison has been the Business/Social Events Chair for Welcome Week since October and is looking forward to the upcoming fall semester. Allison is from Bonne Terre, Missouri where she enjoys the ever so popular back road adventure. She also enjoys playing sand volleyball, Cardinals baseball, tweeting, and dreaming about traveling back to Honduras where she spent her Spring Break on a mission trip with SBU.
Josh Tiffany- Publicity Chair
Josh is a junior Computer Science and Mathematics double major from Indpendence, MO. Besides Welcome Week Steering Committee, he has also served on Welcome Week as a Brother in 2011 as well as helped with University Activities Council. Josh also enjoys attending Freshwater Church with many of his friends. Josh is thankful for his Christian upbringing and desires to serve the Lord in whatever field He guides after graduation.
Trinity Griffin - Brother/Sister Chair
This year's Brother/Sister Chair is Trinity Griffin. Trinity is a sophomore Social Work major. Besides being apart of Welcome Week, she is involved in SBU Concert Choir and Winds Symphony. Trinity loves watching Disney movies, taking road trips, and spending time with friends. After graduation, she would love to be elementary school social worker ot a wedding planner.
