Southwest Baptist University is interested in providing the best possible residential environment for its students. Residential living is a unique experience that provides opportunity for growth and learning. Each hall is staffed by a Resident Director who is dedicated to developing and directing the student staff. Resident Assistants are students who have been carefully selected to assist you. The combined efforts of the Resident Assistants provide the facilities with personalities, memories, and relationship-building opportunities that will create some of the most meaningful experiences in your life.
Express Yourself...
Your room is your home at SBU. Decorations are limited only by your creativity. Rooms are painted in neutral color. Reusable adhesive putty must be used to hang pictures and other wall decorations. (Nails or tacks may not be used).
Develop Relationships...
Opportunities for your personal investment abound in residence life. The interpersonal skills and responsibilities you will learn in Hall Council, student staff, and involvement in residence life pay great dividends, even beyond your years at SBU. Programming efforts in a variety of areas, study skills, intramural sports, social issues, and safety concerns, all encourage your development beyond the classroom.
