Hey guys! My name is Paige Arve and I am the Resident Director of Woody-Gott Hall along with my awesome husband Erik. I am originally from Garner, North Carolina and I travelled the incredibly long distance to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University. There I was blessed with the opportunity to achieve my childhood dream of playing on the Varsity Women’s Soccer team all four years and graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology.

During and after college, I thought I wanted to go into the health field and pursue a career as a Physicians Assistant. I worked in home health right out of school and when that didn’t work anymore, I got a job working in a doctor’s office for an allergy company. However, the longer I worked in the health field, the more I felt that God was calling me elsewhere. I have a passion for people and I missed having an opportunity where I could live life and pour into students. Then, Erik was accepted into the physical therapy program here at SBU. We very quickly got married, packed our bags, and headed here to Bolivar! Soon after, the Lord answered my prayers and blessed me with this awesome opportunity to be an RD.

If you know me, you know that I am the perfect embodiment of an obsessed Pinterest-er. I love to paint, build furniture, and just let my creativity pour out. I also love to laugh, be sarcastic, and spend time with Erik. We both love to be active and outdoors. Erik brings his fishing poles and lures and I bring my camera. We love hanging out with friends and playing board games. And most importantly, we love worshipping our Lord who has given us above and beyond anything we could have asked for or imagined!
