Jackie Bass, Resident Director of Woody-Gott Halls
My husband and I are the RD’s at Woody-Gott where we enjoy getting to know the guys and ladies of the dorm over intense games of Settlers of Catan and really good tea.
I grew up in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and graduated from SBU in 2001 with a Middle School math teaching degree. I married Clint Bass in 2003, and taught math in various places while he continued his education. We spent the four years from 2004 to 2008 in England, just returning to Bolivar in August 2008.
When the excitement of living abroad wore off, one place stood out above the others as the place we most hoped to return to, and that was SBU. Clint now teaches here, and we feel blessed beyond what we thought possible to be part of SBU again. We hope to have the same spiritually encouraging effect on the students we encounter as the people of SBU have had on us.
