Frequently Asked Questions

Must students clean their own bathrooms?
Yes, students are encouraged to keep their entire rooms clean and regular mandatory room-checks help ensure this.

Must students provide their own cleaning supplies?
The dorm has vacuum cleaners, and brooms available in the dorm office, but the student must acquire all other cleaning supplies.

May students use the kitchen to cook?
Yes, students are allowed to checkout use of the kitchen, as well as other dorm facilities, during normal office hours.  The office hours are usually, 8:00AM-12:00AM, seven days a week.  Other amenities include the theater in the first floor lobby and the fire pit and grill on our front patio.  Students may also checkout use of these items as well.

Is the dorm kitchen fully furnished?
Yes, the dorm kitchen has all the basic equipment needed to cook most anything, as well as some dinnerware and flatware.  However, no equipment or utensils are allowed outside of the kitchen, so we encourage students to bring their own dinnerware and flatware if they are interested in using the kitchen, but desire to eat elsewhere.

For the grill, must students provide their own charcoal?
Students must provide their own charcoal and lighting equipment for use of the grill.  The dorm does provide all the cooking utensils one might need, available in the dorm office.

What is available in the game room?
The game room is furnished with a ping-pong table, small flat screen TV, and a big screen TV that is often used for large group gaming.  Students must provide their own ping-pong equipment.
