Physical Therapy Freshman Guarantee
Physical Therapy Department : A Healing Mission.
Freshmen students with 24 ACT (1060 SAT) scores may be eligible for guaranteed admission into the physical therapy program at completion of their bachelor's degree. High school students, or freshmen with less than 30 credit hours, should contact the physical therapy department for an application for guaranteed admission. Applicants must first apply to Southwest Baptist University for undergraduate admission. Students who are guaranteed admission into the graduate physical therapy program must confirm their acceptance in January in their enrollment year.
To maintain their guarantee at time acceptance is confirmed, students must:
- Have an overall GPA of 2.75 and a pre-requisite GPA of 3.0
- Document 40 hours of observation or work hours in physical therapy
- Complete the bachelor's degree and all prerequisite courses prior to enrollment
Successful Freshman Guarantee participants will receive a scholarship upon entering the professional phase of the physical therapy program with the potential of up to $3000. Please contact our office for more information and an application.
