“I feel that through my course work and leadership in SBU’s Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team I have developed good communication skills. I am outgoing and love to talk and meet new people.
I went on SBU’s International Business Trip last summer to Europe to five different countries. That was the first time I have been out of the United States, and I had a great time. It was neat to experience different cultures and how business practices differ. I am going on the International Business Trip this year again to tour Italy.
SBU has given me many opportunities to develop and show my leadership skills. My time at SBU has enhanced my leadership abilities through group projects, my role as SIFE Secretary, and being involved in a local church. I also lead Bible study and activities for 4th and 5th graders at Southern Hills Baptist Church.
I feel that I do a good job of encouraging others to become their best both mentally and spiritually. I like to help others to do what they think they can’t. Through SIFE I have been able to encourage our members to lead and complete projects when they never dreamed they could. Being an encourager is exciting and always rewarding.

Through SBU’s top ranked College of Business and Computer Science, I have learned how to effectively incorporate my faith into the workplace and be a strong Christian in a secular world.”
