Performance Scholarships
SBU offers a number of scholarships designed to both reward and develop a student’s special skills.
Fine Arts Scholarships Art, Music, Theater and Speech & Debate
Awarded in amounts upwards of $500, the Art Fine Arts Scholarship is given on a competitive basis. Contact admissions for specific requirements for your area of expertise. Application Deadlines: Art: December 3 Music: March 1 Theater: February 22 Speech & Debate: auditions granted from February 1 – March 1
Athletic Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded in amounts upwards of $500 and are based on athletic performance. For more information, go to www.sbubearcats.com and complete the questionnaire for the sport of interest. Scholarships are available in the following NCAA Division II sports:
Men: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Track and Tennis
Women: Basketball, Cross Country, Track, Soccer, Softball, Tennis and Volleyball
