Check with admissions to explore what scholarship opportunities may be open to you. Our staff is here to help you in every way we can.

Church-Related Scholarships

As a Baptist University, it is our privilege to award scholarships to students entering certain types of ministry and also to partner with churches to help build the Kingdom of God by helping encourage Christian service.

Church-Ministry Scholarship
Would your church like to contribute to your education? If so, SBU will match their contribution dollar-for-dollar up to $500 annually. Agreement forms are mailed out annually to the home church in early May. Church contributions and agreement forms should arrive at SBU by July 1.
