Academic Scholarships
Dutile Scholars Award – Full Tuition, Room & Board
J.R. Maupin Founders Award – Full Tuition
Qualification:
- Apply to the University Honors Program
- 3.50 GPA and 28+ ACT/1230+ SAT
- Attend Scholars Day- January 18, 2010
- The top five scholars in the incoming class of the University Honors Program will receive the scholarship.
Ingman Distinguished Scholars Award - $8,500
Students must be enrolled full-time to receive this scholarship. Some of last year’s recipients included Rachel, who had a 30 on the ACT and a 4.0GPA, while Matt had a 27 on the ACT and a 3.8 GPA.
Board of Trustees Scholars Award - $7,500
Students must be enrolled full-time to receive this scholarship. Some of last year’s recipients were Steven, who had a 26 on the ACT and a 3.7 GPA, and Kim, with a 21 on the ACT and a 3.6 GPA.
Presidential Scholars Award - $6,000
Students must be enrolled full-time to receive this scholarship. Among last year’s recipients , Katelyn had a 21 on the ACT and a 3.3 GPA, and Glen had a 19 on the ACT and a 3.0 GPA.
SBU Achievement Grant - $3,000
The SBU Achievement Grant is based on academic potential, demonstrated commitment and dedication to service in high school, church or the student’s community. This grant is not available to students qualifying for academic scholarships.
